About Sevira Journeys
Sevira Journeys is a travel services company based in Canada.
We specialize in custom itineraries, cruise packages, and Caribbean travel experiences. All bookings are made directly through Sevira Journeys, and payments are collected by us on behalf of our clients.
Bookings & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once Sevira Journeys has received your completed booking request and the required deposit. A booking confirmation will be issued to you via email. It is your responsibility to review the confirmation and notify us immediately of any errors or discrepancies.
Payments
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit amount will be communicated to you at the time of booking and varies depending on the trip type and supplier requirements.
Final Payment
Final payment is due no later than 60 days prior to your departure date, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation. Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment by credit card, e-transfer, and other methods as communicated at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Pricing & Changes
All prices quoted are based on rates available at the time of booking and are subject to change until full payment is received. Sevira Journeys reserves the right to pass on any price increases imposed by airlines, cruise lines, hotels, or other suppliers prior to full payment. We will notify
you of any such changes as soon as possible.
Cancellations by the Client
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Sevira Journeys. Cancellation fees apply as follows and are in addition to any non-refundable deposits:
• More than 90 days before departure: Loss of deposit only
• 60 – 89 days before departure: 25% of total booking cost
• 30 – 59 days before departure: 50% of total booking cost
• 15 – 29 days before departure: 75% of total booking cost
• 14 days or fewer before departure: 100% of total booking cost — no refund
Cancellation fees imposed by airlines, cruise lines, hotels, or other third-party suppliers may vary and will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation. Sevira Journeys is not responsible for third-party supplier cancellation penalties beyond our control.
Cancellations or Changes by Sevira Journeys
Sevira Journeys reserves the right to cancel or modify any booking due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government travel advisories, airline or supplier cancellations, or insufficient group numbers. In such cases, we will offer you an alternative arrangement of comparable value or a full refund of amounts paid to Sevira Journeys. We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur, such as non-refundable flights or accommodation booked independently.
Travel Insurance
Sevira Journeys strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical emergencies, and baggage loss. Sevira Journeys is not responsible for any losses, costs, or damages that would have been covered by travel insurance. Failure to obtain travel insurance is at the client’s own risk.
Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure they hold a valid passport and all required visas, travel authorizations, and documentation for their destination(s). Sevira Journeys may provide general guidance but accepts no liability for denied boarding or entry, or any costs arising from a
client’s failure to obtain the required documentation. Requirements can change — always verify with the relevant embassy or consulate before travel.
Health & Vaccinations
Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all health entry requirements for their destination(s), including required or recommended vaccinations and health declarations. Sevira Journeys recommends consulting a travel health clinic or physician prior to departure. We accept no liability for health-related issues arising during travel.
Limitation of Liability
Sevira Journeys acts as an agent for airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and other third-party suppliers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, delay, or expense arising from acts or comissions of these suppliers, or from circumstances beyond our control
including but not limited to weather events, strikes, civil unrest, or government action.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Canadian law, Sevira Journeys’ total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client for the relevant booking.
Changes to Bookings
Any changes requested by the client after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur amendment fees from Sevira Journeys as well as change fees imposed by suppliers. Name changes, date changes, and destination changes are treated as cancellations and re-bookings in most cases. We will advise you of all applicable fees before processing any changes.
Complaints
If you experience a problem during your trip, please notify your guide, hotel, or supplier at the time so it can be resolved immediately.
Any unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing to Sevira Journeys within 30 days of your return. We will not be able to investigate complaints submitted after this period.
Privacy
Sevira Journeys collects personal information solely for the purpose of providing travel services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except where required to fulfill your booking (e.g., airlines, hotels, cruise lines). By making a booking, you consent to this use of your information. Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
Changes to These Terms
Sevira Journeys reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
